Children & Young People

With a key focus on children and young people, helping their families return home if it is safe to do so. Our staff are trained to work with families who may have experience of:

  • mental health illness,
  • drug or alcohol misuse,
  • domestic abuse/coercive control,
  • struggling to control their anger,
  • learning difficulties,
  • neurodivergence
  • trauma.

We understand that coming to the centre is not always something you would have chose for yourself and aim to support you to feel as at home as possible.

Supporting our own experienced social workers is a network of professional psychologists and psychiatrists, doctors, mental health nurses, psychotherapists and other professionals.

Facilities

Discover our family-friendly facilities, offering comfortable space for up to five guests in two large rooms, including an interconnecting suite with a private bathroom.

Our assessments, which provide intensive care and support to safeguard at-risk children, on average run for a period of 12 – 18 weeks, although programs can be tailored to be shorter or longer depending on specific needs.
