What To Expect

We will provide you and your child/children a safe environment where we can support and advise you on achieving the set of objectives for your life.

Full 24-hour CCTV and full audio is available throughout the centre, and you will be informed more about this when you come to stay with us. CCTV in your bedroom area is not focused on your bed area unless this is explicitly explained to you.

CCTV is useful evidence to demonstrate your learning and can be shared with you to consider areas for improvement and areas of strength.

Full range of family assessment and support services 

At Norden Hills Family Centre, our experienced and professional Social Workers provide comprehensive assessments in a relaxed environment, according to Ofsted regulations. We can support families from anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales.

    Residential family assessments for families at our residential centre located in Rochdale.

  • Community Assessments

    Community-based assessments in a parent/s home to minimise disruption to the baby/child/ren

  • Parent Assess (PAMS)

    Covering child care and development, behaviour management, living skills & more.

  • Freedom Programme

    A nationally recognized program that has been designed to help any parent who has been a victim of or is affected by domestic abuse.

  • Combined support

    One parent having an assessment in the community and the other in the Residential centre in Rochdale.

  • 24 hour Support

    24 hour Support in the family home to enable parent/s to stay at home with their baby/child/ren.
